Volunteer With WHEAT And Help Your Community
At the heart of our organization are our volunteers. Some people come regularly every week and some come just a few times a month. Whatever time you can offer we have a place for you. Some will work in the store, some in the food pantry, others help serve or work in the kitchen at the Community Cafe. You may wish to join or create a Fundraising Committee or become part of our Board of Directors. Some help us find funding opportunities and write grant applications. We welcome help from individuals, community organizations, corporate sponsorships, church groups, and from people looking for community service opportunities to satisfy requirements for tax abatements or other income sources. Whatever your reason, whatever time you can spare, we would like to talk to you. Join the long list of volunteers who have helped Wheat Community Services serve those in need in our area with pride since 1982.
